Placing Your Order
Dream
Georgia Bombardieri and Dudley - Australia
The first thing you will want to know is what do you want to do with your Harpsicle® Line Harp. If you are already an experienced harper you probably have a pretty good idea but you may also want to think about what you have always wanted to be able to do with your other harp(s) but could not. The size and weight of our harps opens doors you may not have even realized were there so, before you place your order, just take a little extra time to dream.
If you are a beginner you will probably be in the same boat as a lot of folks, deciding between buying the basic entry-level Harpsicle® Harp (with no levers) or buying another harp up in the line. Here's the scoop, if you buy a Sharpsicle™ Harp, you can always upgrade it to have additional levers but this is not the case for a Harpsicle® Harp. For a variety of mechanical reasons, a Harpsicle® Harp cannot be upgraded. Once a Harpsicle®, always a Harpsicle®. BUT - if you are simply playing for your own relaxation or using the harp with young children or even purchasing the harp for a child, there is a lifetime of music you can play with absolutely no flats or sharps. In fact almost all the music we sell falls into this category and there is so much more beyond that. The other good news is that there is always a market for used harps so even if you do outgrow your Harpsicle® Harp, you can sell it to another good home and select your next Harpsicle® Line or Rees Concert Line harp.
Where do you want to go? Harpsicle® Line Harps, even the Grand and the Brilliant!, are light enough to slip into a harp bag, toss the bag onto your shoulder and go. If you have a Deluxe Harpsicle® Bag, with backpack straps, there is almost no limit to the places where you can go with the five small harps in the Line. The cherry on top is that all five of the small harps fit in a standard airline overhead so you can even take your harp along to see the world! Our motto for our Harpsicle® Harps is "Play Your Harp Out!™," and we think you can see why.
Decide
Kasia & Paula - Poland
Now that you have thought some about what you want to do and where you want to go with your harp, it's time to make your harp choice...but don't stop there. Next you can select the color for your harp, choose natural maple or, if you are purchasing a Special Edition Fullsicle™ Harp, your wood. If you are drawn to rich bass notes in a harp, you may wish to consider the Upgraded Bass String option. The last thing you will want to decide before we begin building your harp is if you want a built-in pickup and preamp. Once you have settled on all those options, you have officially finished deciding on everything associated with the harp itself. Whew!

Now for the fun part - accessories!
If you are a first time harper we have rounded up all the necessities and put them in one place to make things easy. If you plan to take your harp out and about you will probably want to order a harp bag. Some people are comfortable just holding their lap harp between their knees but for many this can be a bit uncomfortable. The simplest solution is a Harpsicle® Stick but other folks prefer a stand, for either sitting or standing, while still others like the freedom of a Harp Strap so they can move while they play.
We also have music for beginning and intermediate players, extra strings and our 911-HARP Kits for basic harp care and maintenance.
